Episode 55

I am very late in posting this podcast.  Many people have e-mailed me to see if I am okay.  Well I am more than okay.  I met a man on my trip to Belize and I have been traveling back and forth to Belize to see him?!

So it seems fitting to have this episode feature stories about Love.  Love in the Air to be exact, along with some war stories, mainly stories of soldiers home on leave from the war.

    Thanks for sharing a bit of your personal life. I, for one, am interested. Those of us who have listened for a long time, feel a connection of sorts.

    I'm happy for you and hope this works out. Most long-distance relationships are obviously difficult. At least you have a job that helps in that regard.

    Who knows, if it works out, someday it won't be long distance.

    Betty, I just want to tell you how much I LOVE your podcast. I'm a brand-new college student, and I frequently travel by air (I live a few minutes away from Pittsburgh International, so I never have to drive far!) Every time I fly, I listen to the podcast. It always makes me laugh. For as long as I can remember, I've been afraid of flying, but listening to your podcast while I'm in the air always makes me feel better about it. Thanks a lot!

And yes I love hearing about your personal life; I was in a long distance relationship for 3 years. We have been happily married now for 4 years and have two children... it can work.

Just one tiny tweak: the word “hustle” has multiple meanings, and for many of us the first meaning is “get off your butt / get a move on!!”, rather than hustle-as-in-unethical/sleazy. It doesn’t always imply zero-sum — but I understand your context in this post. I’m trying to come up with a replacement word here, but can’t really think of one. In any case, I know what you mean and I don’t think the kind of deceitful Ugg Classic Cardy Boots

    I ordered Ugg UK hoping they wouldn't show marks as much as my chestnut ugg and waterproofed them when I first got them. They look so much cleaner than my old Ugg Bailey Boots pair, I wear my Whooga's all year round, they don't make my feet sweat as much as my older pair. My only suggestion to everyone is keep them dry and out of the mud.
